How to choose an edge banding machine

A short guide from the Cortex National technical team. Exact specifications are on each machine page and in the quotation.

  1. Start with tape thickness and panel thickness. The edge banders in our catalog apply 0.4 – 3 mm tape to 8 – 42 mm panels.
  2. Each extra station, such as pre-milling, corner rounding or scraping and buffing, cuts manual finishing after the machine and gives a cleaner edge.
  3. Daily output sets the speed and automation you need: a small kitchen workshop differs from a furniture line running all day.
  4. Before ordering, check power, air pressure and floor space on site; our team confirms them with you before supply.
